In April 2023, we at InsecureWeb detected a data breach on Crackingforum.com, a website that offers information and tools for hackers and cybercriminals. The breach was posted on the Telegram channel #@leakdatabreaches by an anonymous user known as “@”. The compromised information totaled 3.38MB and included sensitive data belonging to the website’s clients.

 

Where and How?

The breach was detected by InsecureWeb, a company dedicated to scanning the dark web in search of security breaches of clients’ companies. InsecureWeb found the information on the Telegram channel #@leakdatabreaches, which is known for posting data breaches and leaks. The exact origin of the data breach is unknown, but it is suspected that it was due to a vulnerability in the website’s security system.
