On September 19, 2023, our vigilant team at InsecureWeb detected the breach, uncovering a breach named “Metroclub 15-08-2023” committed by the perpetrator Cyb.

Where and How?

Our investigation found that a database containing sensitive member information from Metroclub.org was discovered on the dark web in August 2023. The breached database included user names, full names, email addresses, member numbers, user types, account statuses, creation dates, and account enablement status. The breach occurred when Cyb, the perpetrator, published the data on the dark web forum “omniforums”.

This breach raises concerns about the potential misuse of personal information, as member details could be exploited for identity theft, fraudulent activities, or unauthorized access to Metroclub.org’s resources.
