Blockchain.com, a leading provider of blockchain technology-based products and services, recently experienced a data breach that was posted on the dark web forum HydraMarket.co by Omnipotent on January 6th, 2023. This breach contained a list of 307K email addresses that were leaked to the public domain without authorization or permission from Blockchain.com or its customers.

This data leak has been reported to relevant authorities who are now conducting an investigation into how it occurred, as well as taking all necessary steps to protect customer information and mitigate any potential damage caused by this incident. In the meantime, all users of Blockchain’s services are urged to take extra precautions when handling their personal information online and ensure that their accounts are secured with strong passwords and other security measures such as two-factor authentication (2FA).
